Cover Dog

Who say’s dogs can’t wear perfume?  well, science says maybe it’s not the best idea.  After all Inside a dog’s nose, there are about 300 million smell receptors, compared to our 6 million. A dog’s brain area that detects smell is 40 times bigger than yours.

A dog’s nose separates air into air for breathing and air for sniffing via that small fold that you can see on the inside of each nostril.  How cool is that?  So if something smells strong to you you can be sure that your dog’s nose is a thousand times more sensitive to it.  That doesn’t mean we can’t look cute promoting this mock perfume ad though!

I sure had fun on this shoot.  No it’s not the ocean… It’s Lake Ontario, and it was a bit chilly hence my fisherman sweater. It was a chilly day at woodbine and Kew beach but I nailed my blue steel look as usual!
